Some destinations on Funen and in South Jutland are easy to reach by ferry, bicycle and bus; for others a (rental) car is more practical. Ferries generally take bicycles as well.
Please always ask the official ferry companies directly about current ferry connections, journey times and prices, as timetables can change seasonally.
After a day on Funen, on Als or in one of the region's towns, it's back to Ærø – to peace and quiet, the sauna, the stove and Dansk Cottage.
